Streetnews#117 - Ellesse - Pigeon

The latest collaboration of two sports and streetwear icons has appeared in our store. The Italian brand Ellesse created a fresh collaboration with the New York brand Staple Pigeon. The Ellesse brands do not have to be presented to anyone, but we will bring you a bit of Staple Pigeon's story. In 1997, when the founder of the brand - Jeff Staple entered one of the boutiques in NY, he did not even expect it to go on. He wore a T-shirt he created at the Parsons School Of Design. He left the boutique with an order for 12 t-shirts. What began with the small, hand-made by Jeff lines, has grown organically and began to gain popularity in the city. In 2005, Nike spoke to Jeff to create commemorative sneakers to represent NY. Since then, the brand has become an icon in the world of fun art, graffiti and broadly understood streetwear culture.
