documentary maker of the golden era of rap.
Hip-hop from its beginning emphasized the expression of themselves, their emotions, expressive form of speech about the ills of the world observed by the first months. It was a kind of documentation of what is happening in smaller communities, what problems and problems they are struggling with, how they deal with the hardships of often difficult existence among blocks of violence, gang wars and human anesthesia.
In the 1980s, the movement was literally bought by young people, which of course was recorded by record labels that had a great deal of interest in it. The first routes began to appear, rappers more and more often entered into sponsorship agreements, the whole clothing industry crawled later called streetwear. Along with the growing popularity of hip-hop, there were more and more industry broadcasts, TV programs and photographers documenting the actions of rappers.

The unique style of Chi Modu expression depicted them in everyday situations, which made you feel in no way embarrassed by the presence of the camera and began to treat the photographer as his homie. He showed their human nature instead of presenting as one-dimensional stars. This documentation is full of authenticity, often just crawling in the showbiz, expressing fears, fears but also pride in what they have already achieved.
